Genius Giant Project: "When The Decades Paused,"

Nowadays, digital audio streaming has become the majority in the society. However, physical and digital formats are still very distinctive. Digital audio streaming is convenient, but it often decreases the feeling and experience from the original music. Sometimes, when you are listening to the music with the physical album in hands, the texture of the album may lead you to "touch" the melody and give you more intense audio experiences behind the music itself. 

The project, "When The ​Decades Paused," includes a series of three albums. They individually represent three decades, 1950s to 1960s, 1980s, and 2000s through the US history. The main aims of this project is to educate the young people the US history in a more playful and funky way and to build the tension between physical albums and kids. Therefore, the inspirations are developed from POP ART, which usually has a much closer association with younger generations. Otherwise, the tracks that I have chosen in the playlist is inspirational, vivid, and "colorful." They  indicate the stories of each decade and gratefully bring people back to the period of time.
